Real Madrid and Their Dominance in LaLiga

With the first half of LaLiga almost done, Real Madrid have had a great first half of LaLiga 2021-22 season. There’s a lot of factors that contributed to Real Madrid being close to clinch LaLiga title to early.

Vinicius had finally exploded into the player Florentino Perez and Real Madrid fans have been waiting for. Vinicius season so far is amazing and he’s probably one of the best players in the world right now. Before the season began, fans and experts wondered if selling Vinicius ahead of Mbappe’s arrival to Real Madrid would be the logic move, some felt he was under-performing and PSG has been interesting in him for a while now. Florentino Perez has always been his biggest fan and the faith his given to Vinicius is finally paying off.

Ancelotti has also been key on the success of Vinicius with Real Madrid this season. Vinicius early won the battle with Hazard for the left winger position and from there everything has gone up for Vinicius. Carlo Ancelotti also helped Vinicius with his scoring, with the advice of only doing two touches inside the area before shooting.

So far, Vinicius has played 17 games with 4 assists and 10 goals. These are Vinicius best numbers since he arrived to Real Madrid. Vinicius influence on the game can also be felt on the pitch with rival teams having to use 2 or 3 players to stop him and this creating spaces for players like Benzema, Asensio and Rodrygo on the pitch.

Benzema and Vinicius chemistry is out of this world and no team seems to be able to stop them. If both keeping playing like this, Real Madrid will clinch La Liga pretty soon.

Barcelona & Atlético de Madrid Under-Performing

Barcelona and Atleti are Real Madrid’s two biggest rivals for winning LaLiga and in a tremendous turn of events, both teams have disappointed a lot and currently they are 18 (Barcelona) and 13 (Atleti) points behind Real Madrid so far in LaLiga table.

Messi was the heart and soul of Barcelona and the team has suffered since his departure to PSG on the summer transfer window. Not only are they struggling in Spain, but also in Europe with them being eliminated from the Champions League on the group stages and instead going to the Europa League. Barcelona under Xavi haven’t improve much and things could look worse for them if they don’t improve soon.

The biggest disappointment of the season has been Atlético de Madrid. Before the season began, they were seen as the favorites to win LaLiga title yet again, but this first half of LaLiga has been very surprising for the team managed by Simeone. The team is not able to close games or their defense is has not been as good as other seasons and fans are getting tired of Simone’s ultra defensive style of play.

As mentioned, the influence of Ancelotti has helped Real Madrid a lot this season, especially considering it’s pretty much the same one as last season with the exceptions of Varane and Ramos leaving and the additions of Alaba and Camavinga to the squad. Ancelotti has given confidence to players like Jovic and Vinicius when they needed it the most and made things clear with players like Isco and Bale that won’t be on the team for much longer.

Under Ancelotti, the defense pair of Militao and Alaba has performed so well together despite this being their first season together. Courtois is also another player that us played even better than last season under Ancelotti’s management.

Carlo Ancelotti’s experience as helped this team so much and a lot of their success is thanks to him. Real Madrid have improved so much under him and has made people that underestimated this team early on look like fools.

Real Madrid have the difficult task of keeping this momentum going and try to clinch LaLiga as soon as possible. In the world of football anything is possible and Real Madrid right now are having a great season, but they need to remember they haven’t won anything yet.
