The Euros are upon us once more and the biggest competition in Europe is coming back. All national temas will try to win the Euros and add their name to the list of champions of this prestigious tournament. Many national temas are the clear favorites to win this year’s edition of the Euros.
The current World Cup are the favorites by all betting odds to win this year’s Euros. They have the best and deepest squad right now in comparisons to other national teams. There’s no way France doesn’t win this edition of the Euros. Their attack trio of Mbappe, Benzema and Griezmann have the potential to destroy any defense against them on this tournament.
This is not the same team that lost the 2016 Euros finals against Portugal. They are more seasoned and the addition of new key players makes them the most likely winners.
England on a similar fashion to France, they have a deep roster and will a lot of international experience. England are looking to end their drought of 55 years without winning a major tournament. Southgate’s team are the second favorite team according to several betting houses. England is in group D with Croatia, Scotland and the Czech Republic. On paper, England should come out of group D as first.
Can England finally end their drought, or will they leave empty handed once more on a major tournament? Only time will tell with this very talented squad.
The third favorites to win the Euros are the golden generation of Belgium. Kevin De Bruyne suffered fractures on his nose and left eye socket. De Bruyne not being 100% could affect negatively Belgium big time on their aspirations to win the Euros. Another key star for Belgium, Eden Hazard has had 2 very underwhelming seasons with Real Madrid and getting consistent good performances from his are very unlikely these days, then again, this could serve for motivation for him to return back in form.
Belgium’s squad is deep and have several key players that are going to have great performances on this tournament like Courtois or Lukaku.
Spain, Germany, Portugal, Italy and the Netherlands are also major favorites according to betting houses. All these national teams have great arguments on their favor on why they could win the Euros, especially Germany. Just like in 2016, maybe they could upset the heavily favored France on the finals.
The Euros are upon on and we are about to witness some fo the best European football the old continente has to offer. Can someone stop France on their path to win their third Euros (1984 & 2000).
