Positive of Monday Night Raw

I think seeing T-Bar and Mace without those face masks works better for them. I lost interest with the whole Retribution concept pretty early on and this will hopefully be a fresh start. I think they need to change their names to the original names as well.

Surprisingly, the match between Charlotte Flair and Mandy Rose was pretty solid. Many held her own and almost took the match. It also seemed like Sonya was looking out for her former tag team partner by booking this match. I’m also interested to see what Sonya do in her new role.

It also was good to see Humberto Carrillo back. I like him and think he’s a solid wrestler.

I appreciated the match up with Randy Orton and Matt Riddle. The match with them and Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander was solid. It worked well. I wouldn’t mind seeing what Randy and Matt do with the whole RKBro thing happening.

Negatives of Monday Night Raw

I’m not too fond of matches where we are seeing the same wrestlers appearing in multiple matches within the same night. It was what happened with Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, T-Bar and Mace. It seems like lacks creative direction. I hope this changes soon.

The 6 woman tag match truly disappointed me which sucked because I love women’s wrestling and want to see more of it. When we get these 6 woman tag matches, it almost seems like throw away matches.

I didn’t understand the concept of making a big deal about Charlotte Flair being suspended only for her to be back a week later. It seemed pointless.

Overall Thoughts:

Monday Night Raw wasn’t what I hoped it to be as a middle point between WrestleMania and Backlash. It seems like once again creative seems stuck. Monday Night Raw used to be a show you had to watch, and now it is a struggle. I hope that things turn around soon and that we can get some good stuff going with some of the wrestlers.

Randy and Sheamus has been solid for the most part. I also an interested to see what else we will get from Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley as the champion.
