Week 15 MNF: Bengals vs Steelers Betting overview and Player Props

Preview

Bengals fans are gonna enjoy this article about as much as they enjoy watching Ryan Finley throw the football. This is one of those games that just really doesn’t matter that much. The Bengals are a solid team with Joe Burrow but without him are a bottom 3 team in the league. The Steelers are coming off of back to back losses to the Bills and Washington Football team and are in a perfect get right spot. The Steelers are currently 15 point favorites and there is really no possible reason to be on the Bengals in this game. Overall this game will most likely end up in competition for lowest viewed primetime game of the season…. For good reason.

James Washington Longest Receptions Over 15.5 Yards -115

Washington is the Steelers deep ball receiver and someone who Big Ben is not afraid to target. While the Steelers due have a plethora of wideouts to choose from Washington has constantly gotten the opportunity to snag a couple catches every game. Over his last 6 games Washington has had receptions over 15.5 yards in 5 of them, and 8 of the 12 he’s been healthy for the season. The Bengals secondary has been unimpressive throughout the season and I expect Washington to break through and grab a pass of 16 yards or more. With Diontae Johnson struggling to hold onto the ball in recent weeks Washington has seen a recent uptick in production and even though it’s been gradual the uptick in snap share is always a good sign.

PIT First Half Spread -7.5 -113

It feels like most of the offensive production happens in the first half and then everyone turns off the computer and goes to sleep. I honestly find it hard to believe the Bengals even put up much of a fight. The only thing we have to worry about is the Steelers playing down to their competition. The Steelers have been known to play at the level of bad teams in the past but it’s hard to believe they go to Ryan Finley led Bengals levels of bad. Overall the Steelers are a top tier offensive team going against a bottom level Bengals defense and I think they get the job done.

Not much action tonight, focused on two plays I like and not gonna force anything else.
